Class: Painting YUPO—Ice Skating!

Instructor:
Sandra Hill
Phone: 571-483-0652
Location: Gallery Underground
Price: $75 plus $10 supply fee

Meets: Saturday, Nov 5, 11:30 - 4:30

Course Description:
YUPO (pronounced U-Poe) is a non-absorbent “paper” which is fun to paint on, like ice skating over its slick shiny surface. It lets you produce works with wonderfully rich, vibrant colors. Nearly every medium - watercolor, pencils, oils, pastels, acrylics, alcohol ink - can be used on it. All media are extremely easy to remove from its surface, which is both one of its most appealing and most challenging characteristics.

Using fluid acrylic, we will practice laying down paint, mixing colors, removing them and then have fun while we go on to create a beautiful project. Come play with us and learn the fascination of and some tricks to control this exciting paper.

YUPO paper and fluid acrylics and some textural materials provided. A supply list of a few other miscellaneous supplies will be provided.
